DIY Investing - Is it time to Buy British?

This article raises a question I have been thinking about for some time.
The UK does offer some amazing products and services and the stock market valuations have not always reflected that. That may be about to change ......
You see Trump has completely up-ended the globalisation agenda and that is causing multi national companies to consider their direction. Things are clearly not business as usual anymore regardless of how the tariffs arguments are eventually settled.
Its been noted that the large investment managers are dropping the 'social responsibility' 'DEI' and 'ESG' narrative. One manager has boldly even suggested that the net zero agenda will be quietly kicked into the long grass to be forgotten about. Not before time in my opinion although it would take a while to change direction.
If that happens expect a sharp unturn in company profits and a correspondingly fall in energy prices that will fuel our economy and a hungry stockmarket valuation.
Have a read and tell me what you think?
